Bonnie Scotland, a few days in the Highlands! – Scottish Highlands Photography

I was lucky enough to spend some time in the Scottish Highlands recently. Mostly on the West side in and around Fort William. Here you will see the wonderful shots I captured, even though the weather was very interchangeable to say the least. I just love this area of the UK and would love to spend more time photographing the endless beauty and moody atmosphere that Scotland posses and creates?

Looking across Loch Duich to the Highlands and Mountains beyond. The sun was creating such wonderful light and shadows.

This Black and White picture of Loch Ness was taken at Fort Augustus in the Scottish Highlands. The wrecked boat has been there as long as I can remember but makes for a fine picture.

This is still one of my favourite views in the whole of the Scottish Highlands. On the road to Glencoe and Loch Linnhe, you come across this imposing yet stunning view.

Early one morning I happened upon this amazing yet moody view across the Lochs and Glens of Scotland. I loved how the clouds opened up to highlight the snow capped mountains.

There is just simply no getting away from the mountains or lochs and the pure amount of opportunities a passionate landscape photographer may find. If I had to pick a favorite from above then it would be the panoramic shot of ‘The Pass of Glencoe’ purely for its immenseness!
